I began studying at the Language Education program after having been teaching English in Israel for more than a decade and this program has enabled me to become a more knowledgeable and professional English teacher, language educator, researcher and parent. The variety of in-depth language courses, such as 1st and 2nd language education, language testing, language curriculum and assessment, comparative analysis, learning disabilities and language, and research methods has made this positive difference in my professional career and in my personal life.
My teaching methods have changed and my students are benefiting from my acquired knowledge. The Language Education program has given me insight and the tools to understand and develop my own bilingualism as well as my children's. The professors of the program are top-notch and were always well versed in the academic research of their subject from the past to the present. Their teachings were geared toward practicality based on academic research in real world settings, whether in the classroom or in society.
The program has also given me the tools to research my own curiosities in the field of language and education. The professors have always been, and without exception, tremendously positive in their enthusiasm for their field of study and they have indeed relayed their knowledge in a most pleasant manner.
